Exchanges
KYC (Know Your Customer) is a regulatory requirement that obliges exchanges to verify the identity of their users and to store all transaction records (privacy issue).
Regardless of which exchange you use, don’t leave your funds on the exchange. Always move them to your hardware wallet as soon as possible.
